ESCAPING REALITY
Escaping Reality was initially a practice in recreating a space with projection mapping. In the development of the project, I took the opportunity to defamiliarize the recognizable mundanity of a school building. I commonly find myself wandering this space while listening to music, zoning out about fantastical concepts and locations. Escaping Reality is a representation of how boring and familiar locations can be transformed with daydreams.

This is a rendered frame of the odd and vibrant space found within a classroom.
A rendered frame of the real hallway I have recreated with the usage of projection mapping.

This screenshot represents only a frame of the process of creating this video. It displays an unrendered still of the added light sources, the camera placements as it moves through the video, a few imported models, and the set plane of the scene.
